It's lighter and stronger than cast iron and features the Excalibur nonstick coating for scratch resistance, simple cleaning and the ability to withstand commercial kitchen use. The resin handle stays cool to touch for a comfortable grip and is oven safe up to 350°F. Additionally, you can remove the handle and allow food to simmer in the oven in temperatures up to 500°F.
