What to consider when choosing restaurant tables

  • Top size vs. covers – 24" and 30" square tops suit two guests; four-tops generally need 36" square or larger.
  • Base compatibility – the base spread must suit the top size, and bolt patterns should line up before you order.
  • Height – dining height is around 30"; bar height is around 42". Match to your chairs and stools.
  • Levelling – check the thread size of replacement levellers (for example 1/4" for cast iron and 5/16" for stainless bases) before ordering.
  • Table edge thickness – skirting clips are sized to the edge; these fit 1/2" to 3/4" tables.

Do table tops come with a base?

No. Table tops and table bases are sold separately so you can choose the height and footprint that fit your room.

How do I stop a table from wobbling during service?

Slide a stabilizer such as Steady Eddie or BIOS Table Wedgies under the short foot. For a permanent fix, replace worn foot levellers on the base.

What are table clips used for?

They attach table skirting to the table edge for buffets, registration tables and banquets, and can be reused event to event.
