If you look closely the bottom is smooth. This item does not have any indents to securely grab onto the fruit and muddle properly. Squishing fruit with this tool can be very dangerous! Since the bottom is smooth, it slid off the limes I was muddling, causing the muddler to hit the inside of my glass which sent it flying onto the floor and smashed. My fault I didn‚Äôt have a death grip on my glass I guess. 🤷🏻‚Äç♀ On a good note, I will use it too smash up my dried egg shells for my garden. Definitely not recommend for muddling fruit.
