The Fat Daddio's Heating Core Rod, 4.25" sits in the centre of large or deep cake pans to carry heat into the middle of the batter, so the centre bakes through before the edges dry out. It suits bakeries and pastry kitchens producing celebration, tiered and shaped cakes.
- Recommended for cakes more than 9" across or 3" to 4" deep, and for hemisphere and novelty pans.
- A 1.5" base keeps the rod upright in the pan; grease it with the pan and fill around it.
- Stainless steel is rated to 550°F (288°C) and is dishwasher safe.
