Water Filtration

33 products

Commercial water filtration protects ice machines, coffee brewers, espresso machines and steam equipment from scale and sediment, and improves the taste of ice and drinks. This collection includes complete filter systems, filter heads and replacement cartridges.

Most of the range is Pentair Everpure, with Hoshizaki, Scotsman, Ice-O-Matic, 3M, OptiPure and BUNN systems and cartridges. See Commercial Ice Machines and Coffee Machines & Accessories for the equipment these filters protect.

What to consider when choosing water filtration

  • Equipment type: Ice machines, coffee brewers, espresso machines and steamers have different needs. Choose a system made for the equipment it feeds.
  • Flow rate and capacity: Size the system to the equipment's water use. Larger ice machines often need twin or triple systems.
  • Cartridge compatibility: Replacement cartridges must match the head or system. Check the model number on your current filter before reordering.
  • Change schedule: Replace cartridges by the manufacturer's time or volume limit, or sooner if pressure drops or scale appears.
  • Prefiltration: In water with heavy sediment, a prefilter ahead of the main system can extend cartridge life.

Water filtration FAQs

Do I need a water filter for my ice machine?

It is widely recommended. Filtration reduces scale and sediment, which helps keep the machine running and the ice clear and good-tasting.

How often should cartridges be changed?

Follow the manufacturer's rated time or gallons, whichever comes first, and change sooner if flow drops or scale appears.

Can one system serve both coffee and ice equipment?

It is usually better to filter each piece of equipment separately, because ice, coffee and steam equipment need different treatment and flow rates.

How do I find the right replacement cartridge?

Check the model printed on your current cartridge or filter head and match it to the listing. Cartridges are not interchangeable between systems.
