Use the lightest pad that removes the soil and work with the grain. Heavy-duty green pads and steel scrubbers can leave visible scratches on polished stainless, so save them for pots and rough surfaces.

Are microfibre cloths worth it?

For glass, stainless and general wiping, yes: they lift fine soil and dry streak-free. Wash them separately from linting cotton and skip fabric softener so they keep working.

What are towel pucks?

Compressed cotton discs that expand into a full cloth when water is added. They store in very little space and are useful for single-use wiping.

How do I stop cloths spreading soil between areas?

Assign colours to areas, keep wiping cloths in sanitizer between uses, and launder or replace them on a set schedule.
