Commercial food processors take repetitive chopping, slicing, dicing, grating and puréeing off the prep list in restaurants, commissaries, catering kitchens and institutional foodservice. Most of this collection is Robot Coupe: batch bowl cutters, combination processors, continuous feed vegetable prep machines and Blixer models, plus a large range of Robot Coupe discs, dicing kits, bowls and blades.
It also includes Dito Sama cutter mixers from 4.5 L to 11.5 L and KitchenAid 7-cup processors for light use. The rest of the prep range is under Food Preparation.
Types of commercial food processors
- Batch bowl (cutter) processors: Robot Coupe R101B, R2B, R301UB, R401B and the variable-speed R5VV and R7VV chop, mix, knead and emulsify in the bowl. Dito Sama K45, K55, K70 and K120S cutter mixers cover 4.5 L to 11.5 L.
- Combination processors: A cutter bowl plus a vegetable prep attachment on one base, including Robot Coupe R101P, the R2N family (Ultra, Clear, Precision), R301 and R301 Ultra, R401, R402A, R502 and the variable-speed R502VV, R702VV and R752VV.
- Dicing models: R2Dice, R2Dice Ultra, R2 Clear Dice and R301 Ultra Dice add dicing kits for cubes and french fries.
- Continuous feed vegetable prep: Robot Coupe CL50 machines (including Ultra, Gourmet, Pizza and Tex-Mex packages), the CL50E and the CL52 slice, grate and dice straight into a pan. The C80 automatic sieve strains purées and coulis.
- Blixer blender-mixers: Robot Coupe Blixer 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 and 30 for very smooth purées and liquefied foods.
- Discs, blades and accessories: Robot Coupe Essential and Expert Series slicing, grating, julienne, brunoise, ripple, waffle and pulping discs; dicing and french fry kits; S blades, cutter bowls, disc racks and grid cleaners.
What to consider when choosing a food processor
- Bowl or continuous feed: A batch bowl suits chopping, sauces and doughs. Continuous feed suits large volumes of sliced, grated or diced vegetables and cheese.
- Bowl size and volume: Bowls here run from about 2 qt to 30 qt. Size for your largest recipe, not your average one.
- Cuts you need: If you dice or cut fries daily, choose a Dice model or a machine that accepts dicing kits, and check disc compatibility by model.
- Speed control: Variable-speed (VV) models give more control over emulsions, mousses and fine textures.
- Electrical: Most units listed are 120V; some larger models need 208–240V or three-phase power. Check before ordering.

Commercial food processor FAQs
What is the difference between a batch bowl and a combination processor?
A batch bowl processor only works in the bowl. A combination processor adds a vegetable prep attachment so the same base can also slice, grate and dice with discs.
When do I need a continuous feed machine?
When you prep large amounts of sliced or diced vegetables or grated cheese every day. Product feeds through and drops into a pan, so there is no bowl to empty.
What is a Blixer?
A Robot Coupe Blixer combines a cutter and a blender to produce very smooth purées and liquefied foods, which is useful in healthcare and catering.
Will these discs fit my machine?
Disc and kit compatibility depends on the model. Check the listing for the machines it fits before ordering.
