One way to reduce the amount of water used is to install a low-flow pre-rinse spray valve. Older units can often use up to 7 gallons per minute (gpm). By installing a low-flow pre-rinse spray valve you can reduce this number to 0.65 gpm. Newer models are designed to distribute water pressure evenly through specially engineered valves so performance is not compromised with cost savings.
