They continually engage in the ENERGY STAR® specification revision process while redesigning product lines to ensure customers have highly efficient commercial refrigeration and ice machine equipment options. Hoshizaki is always adopting new technology in its commercial ice maker product lines, which increases ice production while reducing energy consumption by as much as 12 percent. The newly engineered Hoshizaki ice machines continue to feature a dual-sided stainless steel evaporator which freezes the cleanest water. The result is individual, crystal clear KM Edge cubes. Hoshizaki machines run cleaner, and last longer.

NEW KM Edge Design Icemakers
The new models have increased efficiency with the maximized surface area and a faster harvest cycle for increased production. Hoshizaki's evaporator design freezes the cleanest water, rinsing out minerals and impurities, resulting in individual, crystal clear KMEdge cubes. The new model increases ice production by 7% while using 22% less energy.

The ENERGY STAR® KM-115BAJ produces up to 116 lbs of ice daily, a 1% increase (over former KM-101BAH), while using 11% less water. The KM-300BAJ model produces up to 265 lbs of ice daily, a 11% increase (over the former KM-260BWH), while using 11% less water.
15% Less Electricity
The KM-300BAJ model produces up to 265 lbs of ice daily, a 11% increase (over the former KM-260BWH), while using 15% less electricity. The ENERGY STAR® KM-115BAJ produces up to 116 lbs of ice daily, a 1% increase (over former KM-101BAH), while using 15% less electricity
